Cookies & storage

cardiff.film uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies and browser storage entries so the site can work. We do not use advertising cookies, and we don't run any third-party analytics or tracking scripts.

What we store

• Authentication token: stored in your browser's localStorage under a key beginning with sb-. Keeps you signed in between visits. Cleared when you sign out.
• Session cookies: set by our hosting platform to keep your session active while you're using the portal.
• UI preferences: small entries used to remember things like the last tab you had open. No personal data.

Why we don't show a cookie banner

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), a banner is required when a site uses non essential cookies (advertising, tracking, third party analytics). We don't. Everything listed above is strictly necessary for you to sign in and use your account, so no consent banner is required, but we tell you about it here.

Clearing storage

Signing out clears your authentication token. You can also clear cookies and site data at any time from your browser settings, doing so will sign you out of the portal.
