Film developing for London, by post
We're a photography store in Cardiff, not a London lab — and that's rather the point. Post your rolls in and they're developed, scanned and delivered to a private online gallery by one team, with tracked return if you want your negatives back. No queue in Soho, no dropping off and hoping.
Getting your film to us from London
Order online first
Tell us how many rolls and what they are, pay, and you'll get a unique parcel reference to write on the package so your film matches your account the moment it lands.
Post it tracked
A padded envelope from any London post office reaches Morgan Arcade in one to two working days. Tracked is worth it for anything you can't reshoot.
Send several rolls together
One parcel, one postage cost. We log every roll separately so your scans stay grouped by film rather than dumped into one folder.
Getting it back
Scans appear in your gallery — download the full-resolution files. Negatives return tracked, free alongside a print order.

Why London shooters use us
Everything processed under one roof
C-41, hand-processed black & white and genuine wet E-6 all happen on site in Cardiff. Your film isn't forwarded to a third processor, so there's one journey in and one journey back.
Scans you actually own
High-resolution JPEGs in a private gallery you can download in full, share by link, or turn into prints. No discs, no expiring download link buried in an email.
Tracked from arrival to gallery
You get an email when your parcel is checked in, when the film is developed, when it's scanned and when the gallery is live — which matters far more when you've posted your film than when you've handed it over a counter.
A store, not a mail-order box
Camera Centre UK has been serving photographers from Morgan Arcade for decades. If something looks wrong on a roll, a person who knows the film will call you about it.

London film developing FAQs
- Why post to Cardiff when I'm in London?
- Price and continuity. Your film is developed and scanned by one team rather than passed between a shop counter and an off-site processor, and postal turnaround from London is usually the same as a walk-in London lab once you factor in their queue.
- How do I send my film?
- Place a postal order online, write the reference number on the package and post it to Camera Centre UK, 14–16 Morgan Arcade, Cardiff CF10 1AF. A tracked parcel from London normally reaches us in one to two working days.
- Is posting film safe?
- Yes for ordinary post — Royal Mail doesn't X-ray domestic letter and parcel mail the way airport security does. Wrap rolls in a padded envelope, keep them away from the edges of the parcel, and use a tracked service for anything irreplaceable.
- How do I get my scans and negatives back?
- Scans go to a private gallery in your account, so there's nothing to wait for in the post. Negatives can be returned tracked — add return postage at checkout, or order prints and they travel together at no extra postage cost.
- What formats can I post in?
- 35mm, 120 medium format, APS, 110, disposable cameras and sheet film, in C-41 colour, black & white and E-6 slide. Push and pull processing is available on request.
