Post your film to us.
We'll do the rest.

You no longer have to be in Cardiff to use our lab. Send your exposed rolls or disposable cameras to Camera Centre UK and we'll develop, scan and print them, then publish your scans to a private online gallery you can download and share.

How the postal service works

Four steps, start to gallery

01

Choose your service and pay

Pick develop only, develop + scan, develop + print or the lot, add your rolls, and pay securely online. Prices match our in-store price list.

02

Get your reference number

We email a unique order reference straight away, along with the exact address and packing instructions. Write the reference on a slip inside your package.

03

Post your film to the lab

Send it to Camera Centre UK, 14-16 Morgan Arcade, Cardiff CF10 1AF. Use a tracked service so you can follow it in. We check it in the day it lands.

04

Scans, prints and negatives

We develop and scan, publish your private gallery and email you. Prints and any returning negatives come back by tracked post.

Same prices as in store

Developing, scanning and printing cost exactly the same by post as they do over the counter in Cardiff. There are no handling fees and no online surcharge.

  • One flat return postage fee, added only when prints or negatives need posting back to you.
  • Ordering prints? Your negatives can come back in the same package at no extra cost.
  • Scans only? Nothing to post back — your gallery is published online and there's no return postage to pay.
  • Payment is taken upfront when you place the order, so your film goes straight into the queue when it arrives.

Packing tips

  • Use a padded envelope or small box — never a thin paper envelope.
  • Keep rolls in their canisters or pots and tape the lid.
  • Include a slip with your name, email and order reference.
  • Use a tracked service and keep your proof of posting.
  • Never post undeveloped film through an X-ray screening if you can avoid it.

Before you post

You arrange and pay for sending your film to us — we don't collect. Until your package reaches the lab it is in the hands of your courier, so we can't accept responsibility for film lost or damaged in transit on the way in. Once your film is checked in, our postal terms of service and refunds policy apply.

Postal service FAQs

How does the postal service work?

Choose your service and pay online, we email you a unique reference number, then you post your film to Camera Centre UK, 14-16 Morgan Arcade, Cardiff CF10 1AF with that reference inside the package. We develop, scan and print, then publish your scans to a private online gallery.

Do postal orders cost more than in store?

No. Developing, scanning and printing are exactly the same prices as over the counter in Cardiff. The only extra is a single return postage fee when prints or negatives need posting back to you.

Do I get my negatives back?

You choose at checkout. If you order prints, your negatives can come back in the same package at no extra cost. If you only want scans, you can still ask for negatives to be returned, or have us dispose of them.

What can I send in?

35mm colour C-41, black & white and E-6 slide, ECN-2 cine film, 120 medium format colour, B&W and E-6, plus APS, 110 and single-use disposable cameras.

Who pays for sending the film to you?

You arrange and pay for sending your film in. We recommend a tracked service. We do not collect film, and we cannot be responsible for packages lost in transit before they reach the lab.

How long does it take?

Standard turnaround is 3-5 working days from the day your film reaches the lab, plus postage time each way. Your portal shows every stage from received to published.
