Photo storage & retention policy
We want to be crystal clear about how long we keep your scans, so you can plan around it and upgrade if you'd like your photos kept indefinitely.
Free accounts
- • Once your scans are published to your account, you have 30 days to download them.
- • As soon as you download any photo (either a single file or the full ZIP), a shorter clock starts: your scans are deleted 7 days after that first download.
- • Whichever clock ends sooner is the one that applies.
- • After deletion the gallery record stays in your history, so you'll always see that a job existed, just without the photos.
Premium Photo Storage
- • Your scans are kept indefinitely for as long as your subscription is active.
- • If your subscription ends or a payment fails, you have 30 days to download everything before your galleries are deleted.
- • You'll receive advance warning reminders in your account and by email as each deadline approaches (7 and 1 days out).
Reminders
Every customer receives escalating reminders before anything is deleted in your Dashboard, on the gallery itself, in your Messages, and by email. You can always ask us to hold on to your photos longer by getting in touch.
